這次韋斯布魯克不拿大三元，轉而和「一眉哥」安東尼戴維斯飆分！韋斯布魯克22日拿下全場最高的42分，另有10籃板、7助攻，幫助雷霆隊以121比110擊退鵜鶘隊，雷霆目前17勝12敗，穩居西區第7，韋少的全能演出當屬最大關鍵。
韋斯布魯克全場26投12中、罰18中16，再次把比賽變成他的個人秀，失誤也控制在只有4次。雷霆得分次高的是阿布瑞斯18分，坎特14分、14籃板，亞當斯12分，洛弗尼10分、6籃板與3助攻。
戴維斯雖然很早陷入犯規麻煩中，仍打了36分鐘，拿下34分、15籃板，表現並不輸給韋斯布魯克太多。而哈勒戴也有23分、10助攻，泰倫斯瓊斯21分，不過鵜鶘面對韋斯布魯克的凶猛表現，仍然無法留住主場勝利。
眼見雷霆明星後衛韋斯布魯克本季爆發表現，熱火總裁萊里放馬後炮的功力越來越強大！他表示，相當遺憾沒在2008年選秀會上利用榜眼籤挑選韋斯布魯克，但他再次允諾，將會快速完成熱火的重建工作。
萊里敢掛保證的原因是他曾經兩度幫助熱火快速重建成功，因此儘管本季熱火前29戰輸了20場，萊里強調，自己很喜歡當前熱火的年輕陣容，尤其能夠圍繞當家中鋒懷塞德重建。
